Logicose Signs MOU with The Citizens Foundation to Educate 70 Students Every Month

In an effort to empower underprivileged students with education and create equal opportunity for growth, Logicose takes on an initiative to support three TCF classrooms every month.

Karachi; March 30, 2020: With an ever-growing population and increasing income disparity, access to education has become a luxury that most Pakistani citizens can’t afford. Logicose has taken up a philanthropic initiative that’s close to our hearts.

We have joined hands with The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a reputable NGO that has been providing education to the underprivileged children of Pakistan for more than two decades. Their commitment to the well-being and education of children is unparalleled in Pakistan, and it’s an honor for our organization to assist them in this noble cause.

On March 11, 2020, Logicose met with TCF representatives, Rehan Usman, General Manager, Head of Outreach, Resource Mobilization and Asad Shahbaz, Senior Manager Resource Mobilization to officially sign off on the initiative.

The MOU stated that Logicose would continue to fund the education of 70 TCF students for a year (March 2020–February 2021).

Over time, Logicose has decided to expand its CSR efforts to educate over 250 students, supporting multiple organizations in Karachi. We will also be conducting annual CSR activities to help the students and teachers at TCF engage with each other.

Education is one of the fundamental tenants of any country that strives for progress, empowerment and development. Access to education in developing countries is limited and the conditions of some of these educational facilities are deplorable; Pakistan is no exception.

This isn’t the first time Logicose has sought out to help those in need. In the past, we have made several other contributions to improve the quality of education in Pakistan. One such endeavor includes donating to Manzil Educational Organization in 2019 to sponsor their classroom setup.

As an organization that believes in giving back to the community, we will continue to play our part in helping those in need. We implore others to do the same, so we can all join hands to work towards the prosperity of our nation.
