Hiring Now: Android Developer

We’re looking for an Android Developer with 2-5 years of client/service-based Android development experience. In this role, you’ll be responsible for strong architecture setup of projects so that you can create maximum value for clients.

Job Description:

• Translate designs & wireframes into high-quality code.
• Design, build and maintain high-performance, reusable and reliable Java code.
• Work with Android and React Native Teams; work on projects as a co-member and in collaboration with Team Leads.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Publish Builds on PlayStore.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK – both in Java & Kotlin different versions of Android. Should also know how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, best practices, along with unit tests experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch” and “material” familiarity, with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Solid understanding of Google’s android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Compensation & Next Steps

Salary Range: 80,000 – 150,000 PKR.
